Here is how we rated Rovers’ individual performances at the Keepmoat. Let us know what you think on Twitter @FreePressRovers.
5. Cameron John 8
Took his goal superbly after showing tenacity to claim possession in the first place. He overcommitted with a few challenges which left Rovers exposed at times, though he was better after the break. Photo: AHPIX
6. Ben Whiteman 9
Was shown plenty of close attention by the visitors who looked to prevent him from having his usual influence. While he had little chance to thread through the eye-catching passes, his play was neat and tidy and he got Rovers out of sticky situations. His goal was fortuitous but he’s deserved to get off the mark, and he doubled his tally with a confident penalty. Photo: AHPIX
7. Matt Smith 7
A tiring introduction to life at Rovers but he worked hard in the fluid midfield. He closed down the opposition well and, after a bit of a sloppy start, played some nice neat passes in the middle of the park. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX LTD
8. Jon Taylor 7
Another hard working performance and he caused a few headaches for the opposition with his pace out wide. Should have won a penalty when weaving into the box but got no joy from the referee. Photo: AHPIX
