Doncaster College University Football Academy are appealing for new sponsors as they look to build on a successful first season.

The academy - managed by Haydn Cahill - recently finished second in their first ever season in the FA Flexi League.

In September they will commence their second league campaign before joining BUCS (British Universities & Colleges Sport) in 2017.

Cahill took charge after returning home from a successful two-year football scholarship in USA.

“I formed the football academy at Doncaster College University to create more opportunities for upcoming talented athletes,” he said.

“I have many contacts including coaches across USA and I want the best for my players.

“I owe the success in our first year to all my players and staff involved at Doncaster College University Centre.

“But we want to build on it and we’re looking to attract businesses who are interested in growing through the college and university sport environment.

“We have a lot to offer businesses, from having their name printed on our new home kit, and much more to meet their requirements. We’re looking forward to a successful future and we’d like local businesses to be part of that.”

Doncaster College University Football Club (known as DCUFC) are a team formed from students at both Doncaster College and University Centre Doncaster in High Melton.
