Meticulous preparations have already started for the welcoming of FA Women’s Cup fourth round opponents Copsewood Coventry.
Head coach Gordon Staniforth is carrying out the same preparations as those which saw his Belles outfit claim a solid 2-0 victory over Aston Villa in the third round.
Staniforth was also keen to stress that his WSL2 side will not be taking their Midland Women’s Combination League counterparts for granted when they meet next month.
“We’re very, very pleased with the draw but we have great respect for Copsewood. They’re a very good side and we’re preparing for them in exactly the same way we did for Aston Villa,” he said.
“I’m delighted to be drawn at home, it will be my home bow so that is another box on my list to tick.
“We’ll be having Copsewood watched by our scouting staff as much as we possibly can and will react on the reports we receive back.”
In his first competitive match in charge of the Belles, Staniforth was happy with what he saw on Sunday against Villa.
“I was delighted with our performance,” he said.
“There are always things to work on but I was very happy.
“When I get the match video back, I’ll be sitting down with a cuppa and going through the display in full.”
