Jess Sigsworth has left Doncaster Rovers Belles to sign for FAWSL1 outfit Notts County Ladies.
The 20-year-old forward - who join Belles from Sheffield United when she was 16 - is the second high profile exit this winter following Millie Bright’s move to Chelsea.
Sigsworth, from Auckley, represented England at various youth levels and scored eight goals for Belles last season as they finished second in FAWSL2.
She posted on her Instagram account: “I would like to say a massive thank you to Donny Belles for the last 3 seasons.
“I’m so honoured, proud and privileged to have been able to represent my hometown and I will honestly treasure every moment!
“I wore my number 5 shirt with so much pride and moving on was such a hard decision.
“Everyone involved at the club over the past 3 years helped develop me as a player so much and I hope I made you proud by what you helped me achieve.
“I will miss everyone so much, but once a Belle, always a Belle.
“I will forever be your biggest fan and I will forever be in debt for what you’ve done for me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
