Just two local sides - Askern and Harworth Colliery - have made it through to the third round of the Abacus Central Midlands League's Buckingham Insurance League Cup.
Askern, for whom Chris Hart and Haydn Tomlinson netted, beat South Dvision outfit Matlock Town Reserves by the odd goal in three.

The game had finished 1-1 after extra-time, Blake Freeman’s goal being cancelled out by Bentley’s Dan Reid.
Third-placed Thorne Colliery bowed after failing to last the pace in their tie against Phoenix.
The second-placed Rotherham side scored three goals without reply in the all-Northern Division encounter, after it had ended 5-5 at the end of normal time.
Kyle Palmer bagged a brace for the Doncaster side with Danny Bulman, Kirk Frost and Glyn Powell also chipping in.
Askern found themselves on the wrong end of a 4-1 defeat at Dronfield Town Reserves on Saturday on their return to league action.

Brodsworth Welfare were without a game.
Harworth Colliery’s second string crashed to the biggest defeat of the day, going down 8-0 against Heanor.
