Breaking: Doncaster Rovers Belles out of top flight

Doncaster Rovers Belles will next season be out of Women’s English football’s top flight for the first time since the national league was created.

The Belles will play their football in the FAWSL2 after being replaced by Manchester City in the FAWSL1.

Those joining the long-standing Doncaster club include Aston Villa LFC, Durham Women’s FC, London Bees Women’s FC (Barnet FC), Millwall Lionesses FC, Oxford United Women’s FC, Reading Women’s FC, Sunderland Women’s FC, Watford Ladies FC and Yeovil Town Ladies FC.

Lincoln City will also change their name to Notts County LFC it has been announced.
