Rovers have up to four games in hand on their rivals in the division with no side having played fewer games than them at this stage of the campaign.

With that in mind, and despite Rovers sitting 13th in the table, Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee Ennis believes they are well-placed and could easily climb the standings rapidly.

“I feel like we’ve got games in hand and we’re still in an all right position,” Ennis said.

“I think when we get those games, we’re looking to win obviously, and we’ll build our way up the table.

“That is how the League One table works. A few good wins can put you right up there.

“It’s about taking one game at a time and getting the wins going.

“We’ve had a few injuries in the team and it’s about making sure everyone is back and everyone is sharp.

“We’ve got all the fixtures to come and everyone is going to be needed.

“It’s about getting the wins going to get up the table.”

Ennis could make his return for Rovers in the trip to AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.
