Another two goals from Courtney Sweetman-Kirk were the icing on the cake for Doncaster Rovers Belles, as they swept aside Millwall to maintain their charge at the top of FA WSL 2.
The Belles made a lightning start as Sweetman-Kirk kept up her superb form to score with just three minutes on the clock, picking the ball up on the right and curling a peach of a shot past Sarah Quantrill.
It was all one-way traffic in the first half, and Beth England doubled Doncaster’s tally in the 15th minute after Kasia Lipka had applied the pressure on Millwall’s defence.
And it was three before the break, when Sweetman-Kirk turned provider as she went clear before unselfishly squaring the ball to Sue Smith, who made no mistake from close range.
After the interval Millwall began to get a foothold in the game, but in truth the only side that looked likely to score again were the visitors and it took until the 70th minute for Sweetman-Kirk to grab her second.
She rounded Quantrill and walked the ball home after being released by Rhiannon Roberts, before Nicole Dale got in on the act with a minute remaining to make it 5-0.
