Lee the Main man in 12-1 cup romp

FOUR-goal Lee Winterman had his shooting boots on as Hatfield Main romped to 12-1 Doncaster Senior League FA Challenge Cup first round win over South Kirkby Colliery.

Rob Brown and Luke Crompton hit twwo each with Ryan Davies, Nick Davies, Tom Holloway and Stephen Davidson rounding off the spree.

Sutton Rovers thrashed Division One ISG Doncaster 9-0 with braces for Leon Tarry, Ryan Walker and Karl Bray as Tom Chambers, Simon Roberts and Craig Musgrave hit the others.

There was a brace of goals each for Tom Jepson, Liam Charlton, Sean Nicholls and Scott Maughan as Rossington Main accounted for Edlington Town 8-2. Craig Dyson scored both the Town consolations.

Ryan Oakley was the hat-trick hero for Denaby United in their 5-0 win over Brodsworth Welfare. Ainsley Finney and Enzo Guarini completed their nap hand.

Scawthorpe and Bentley Rhinos took Central Midlands outfit Thorne Colliery to extra-time before going down 2-1. Danny Ferguson was the Division One side’s marksman.

Sam Sidebottom and Gareth Lewins found the net for Hemsworth Town in a 2-0 success over neighbours South Elmsall United Services.

Reigning champions, AFC Sportsman Rovers, defeated Bawtry Town 2-1 in the Premier Division. Joshua Terry hit both Rovers’ goals with Daniel Shaw replying.

A double from Tom Salt put Bramley Sunnyside on the way to a 4-2 win over Swinton Station Athletic. Liam Boyle and Matthew Brunyee also scored.

Honours were shared (3-3) in the game between Kinsley Boys and Carcroft Village. Joe Clarke (2) and Joel Edwards struck for for Kinsley with Gary Mundy, Joe Fisher and Allen Fawley replying for Carcroft,

Woodlands Rhinos (Dale Carrick and Addison Ashworth) deservedly shared the spoils 2-2 at Highwayman (Addison Ashworth and Dale Carrick).

Shaun Hobson, Tom Mason and Ricky Gaskell, helped South Kirkby snatch a 3-2 win at Ackworth United, for whom Steve Winder scored twice.

Hemsworth MW beat Dunscroft United 3-0 thanks to goals by Paul Cooper, Lee Mulroe and Ian Pickersgill.
