The former Doncaster Rovers captain discusses his move into coaching and reflects on his time as a player at the Keepmoat Stadium in our latest lockdown interview.

Doncaster-born Butler, 36, was appointed Belles boss in January and oversaw an upturn in form before the season was voided due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Belles now play in the fourth tier of the women’s game, FAWNL Division One Midlands.

They won FAWSL2 as recently as 2018 but had to withdraw from the FA Women’s Championship after their main sponsor pulled out and their entire senior squad departed.
