And he has urged the forward to keep pushing to add to his tally.

Sadlier returned to the starting XI and netted his 12th goal of the campaign in Saturday’s win over Wycombe Wanderers, putting him well clear at the top of the club’s scoring charts.

Moore is full of praise for the contribution of the 25-year-old and backed him to add plenty more to his record before the end of the season.

“That’s 12 goals this season and for a wide player to get that tells you how we play and how we go about things,” he said.

“If you speak to him, and I did in midweek, he thinks he probably should have got more.

“As long as he’s got that desire then so be it.

“The way that we play, he’s got his goals and he came up with another one.

“At the moment he’ll probably feel he’s made a huge contribution to the season so far.

“My message is for him to keep going and keep looking to try to get more and keep performing.”

Niall Ennis joined Jon Taylor on six goals for the campaign with his strike on Saturday, seeing them as joint-second top scorers behind Sadlier.

Ben Whiteman has netted five times with James Coppinger having scored four goals.
