Ipswich have lost just once in their last six matches, conceding only three goals during that run. And they triumphed 1-0 at Hull City in midweek.

It has come off the back of a long run of patchy form for the former Premier League club which has seen the pressure only increase on manager Paul Lambert who has been under fire for some time.

“They’ve had a great turnaround of form,” Moore said.

“I’ve always said that Paul is a great manager and has a great pedigree. In terms of where the club was at a few months ago, what he’s done with them to turn them around, and the way he’s turned them around and given them that belief.

“They’ve had a couple of great results in terms of drawing on the road and winning at Hull.

“They’re a good team, they’re a big club and a solid club at the this level. And they’ve got some great players that he’s starting to get a tune out of once again.

“It’s going to be a good game. It’s always tough to go to Portman Road.

“But it’s one we have to reset for with the disappointment of not playing in midweek.

Luke Thomas, on loan from Barnsley, could return for Ipswich today having missed the last two games through injury while Flynn Downes is available following suspension.
