'It's about being the best we can be' - Darren Moore's message to Doncaster Rovers supporters

“Football is back.

“I know there will be a growing frustration that you don’t get to see your team playing at first hand.

“But I know there will also be excitement and enthusiasm to tune in to see Rovers and how they are getting on this weekend onwards.

“It’s the next step, and over the next few weeks hopefully we’ll get to see you in person.

“The expectations this season are for us to do as well as we can.

“I always take myself away from looking towards the end of the season because there is so much work to be done between now and then.

“The way I drive it is week by week, day by day, training session by training session to always keep maxing out who we are and what we are.

“If I can accumulate all those days, it will lead us where we need to be at the end of the season.

“Without me looking too far ahead, it’s about us being the very best that we can be.

“We really appreciate all your support. We appreciate your thirst and hunger to get to the ground to see the players.

“But you’re doing your bit right now by staying away and by following the safety procedures.

“Hopefully over the next few weeks, if we all continue to do our bit we can see you all again very soon.”
