@woztomes: Got to win ugly sometimes. That was the type of game that wins titles.

Defensively brilliant. Could have done with Copps in second half to give some composure and hold up play.

@djoftherovers: Dont think we would have won that in any other season since rob rones n co were there. You need to win ugly to be promoted n we did

@nwarddrfc: 100 Percent got away with it the epitome of smash and grab

@AndyFromDonny: Kind of games that win titles. Nowhere near our best but good enough to get the job done. Tactically superb.

@ryanwashbourn26: Average performance but we got the result that’s all that matters. We dug deep that’s what promotion sides do I guess

@alanjones142: Couldn’t keep possession for love nor money! First class defending including 2 excellent penalty saves. That was a victory Corporal Jones would have been proud of. It was like the Alamo and Custer’s last stand rolled into one and we came out on top!

@JT__90: Performance of a championship winning team! If we were still playing Lincoln wouldn’t score and they had 70% of the ball! Just to point out there was no Sims, Bostock, Copps or Bogle...

@FlamencoDave: Massive 3 points. Defending was exceptional. Keeper dug us out of a hole twice

@MikeSFollows: Deserved nothing and took everything. The mark of a great team.

@superryandunphy: There’s only one stat that counts.

@josh_dainty: I’m calling my first born Ellery and that’s all there is to say.

@GedtRTID: I just can't believe after all these games, no supporters, so annoying, what am atmosphere that wouldst have been

@mattarnold13: Biggest 3pts so far this season, did excellent to hold on to the 3pts

@ellerybalcombe_ played a blinder, great team performance

@millieDRFC26: Absolutely amazing game gutted no fans was there as our atmosphere when Balcombe saved the penalties would’ve been amazing

@gavinhep: Lincoln were good, slick passing, however we were professional and disciplined. Take away the penalty saves, did Balcombe have a shot of note to save? Excellent performance that will build belief.

@SincerelyMe0101: Fantastic character shown by the lads. All aboard the promotion bus!

@DazDRFC: Cracking defending and for all their procession didn't really feel a threat too often. Amazing penalty saves and Richards was superb. Not a foot wrong. Just wish we'd show a bit more ambition and pushed up a bit more but maybe for another day

@Donnybarmyarmy: Much better off the ball than on it. Back 4 very good, Balcome commanding even without the penalty saves. Claimed everything. Rode our luck against a very good Lincoln team

@dealerboy_6: Lincoln best team we've played. Ellery approaching Seny Dieng levels for me. Massive result. 3 points off top with 3 games in hand. Darren adding depth amid the toughest run of the season. Deserves keys to the town, what a boy
