This is how Doncaster Rovers' bold new-look side could line up next season - according to Football Manager

While it's been rather a treat having the Bundesliga back on our TV screens of late, it's still not quite enough to fill the gaping void left by the lack of League One football, and the chances of Doncaster Rovers resuming their 2019/20 campaign still look uncertain.

For a bit of fun in the meantime, we fired up the latest edition of Football Manager, and simulated the game beyond the summer and into the future. We had a look at the starting XI, key subs and manager it predicts will be on show for the Rovers on the opening day of the 2020/21 season.

1. New season, same division
