How Darren Moore responded to more questions about the January transfer window at Doncaster Rovers

In the aftermath of the impressive performance in the goalless draw at Sunderland, Moore proved more receptive to talk of the transfer window than he had in recent days.

Hide AdAnd, despite another game coming quickly against Southend United on Tuesday, he pledged to use any spare time afforded to continue the bid to add new players to his squad before Friday’s deadline.
“I’ll switch my attention back to working to try to bring someone in and then when it gets nearer the game on Tuesday I’ll switch my thoughts to that,” he said.
“I’ll get up in the morning, get back on it and start working to get some people in here.
“If we can, then great. If not then we’ve got to focus and go again with the group on Tuesday.”

Hide AdHe added: “We’ll keep working. We’ll keep working towards the next game and we know the transfer window is open so we’ll see how we get on in the next few days.
“It’s about regrouping the squad, recovering, dusting them down and getting ready to go again on Tuesday.
“We’ll see where we are on Tuesday in regards to bodies in the building.”
