The left back was named on the wide left of midfield in the triumph over Portsmouth on Saturday and delivered a superb performance, capped with the winning goal.

“It’s horses for courses really. That’s the way I see it.

“It’s working with players tactically in different positions and showing if needs be for the team, they can play that.

“Jason Lokilo was back but we didn’t feel he was quite ready to play 90 minutes.

“The extra few days will do Jason the world of good.

“We know Reece has played there before, that he can do a job there.

“He played there, did a very good job and got himself into the box and produced a very nice finish.

“It was a nice, tidy finish.”
