'Hopeful' Doncaster Rovers boss on potential of new arrivals before next game

Moore has been keen to secure new signings having seen squad numbers depleted by injuries, as well as the departure of Ben Whiteman.

Having previously urged caution and patience surrounding news of new arrivals, the Rovers boss spoke more positively following Saturday’s FA Cup defeat at West Ham United.

“We’re very hopeful,” he said. “We’re really hopeful that we can add a couple because we need to try to get them in quicker to get them integrated into the squad.

As reported by the Free Press earlier this week, Rovers have been in talks with two players regarding joining the club.

And they have received encouragement in their hopes of securing a return for Josh Sims on loan for the rest of the season.
