That is the verdict of boss Darren Moore after Bingham came off the bench to score a superb effort and wrap up a 2-0 win at Bristol Rovers.

Bingham has found game time hard to come by since arriving at the club on a short term deal in October but still has a couple of weeks left to run on his contract.

Moore believes it will have been a significant boost for the 26-year-old.

"That will have done him the world of good," he said.

"He's a clean striker of the ball, he moves well with the ball, he's got a wonderful physique and great speed.

"So he has a part to play in the team and that goal will have done him the world of good.

"He came in on a free transfer and he has had to get fit.

"Attacking players want to feel the back of the net and he's done that."

Moore was pleased with the contribution of all three substitutes in Saturday's win.

"We thought that Kieran Sadlier was tiring and wasn't really getting away so we thought we could expose them a little bit more," Moore said.

"That is why the subs had to do their bit and I thought all three subs did well.

"It was great to see Matty Blair back. I thought Copps had a great hand in the second goal and Rakish finished it."
