The striker is a few weeks into his Rovers career after his switch from Shrewsbury Town and has been impressed with the clarity of Moore's instructions both on the training ground and in games.

"The gaffer is really clear with the way he wants things before games," Okenabirhie said.

"I've been able to pick up and implement what he wants and I want to keep doing that going forward."

The 24-year-old is currently one game into a three match suspension and will not be eligible to return to action until after the trip to MK Dons on March 7.

The unwanted break will bring the knock-on effect of allowing Okenabirhie to further settle into Moore's methodology after a hectic start to life at the Keepmoat.

"At first, it was bits and bobs when we could because of the games - training a couple of times a week," he said.

"Now we've got a few weeks where we can really nail it down and integrate with how the manager wants to play.

"I'm really enjoying it to be fair.

"It was what I expected with the way the manager wants to play and the group of players that are here.

"I'm happy to be here.

"I'm pleased to have blown a few of the cobwebs out of the way so far."

Okenabirhie says he has had no trouble settling in at the club as he gets accustomed to life in the area.

"It's been easy to settle in," he said. "Everyone is really welcoming.

"I've been in the hotel with Jacob and Jason and I'm looking to find somewhere."
