DONE DEAL: Doncaster Rovers sign Jacob Ramsey on loan from Aston Villa

The 18-year-old is a highly-rated member of the Premier League side’s academy and has already made three senior appearances for the club.
He trained with Rovers on Friday morning and is eligible to make his debut against Fleetwood Town on Saturday.

Hide AdRamsey is confident of making the step-up to senior level on a regular basis with Rovers.
“I’ve had a good record in the U23s - playing 16 times, scoring seven goals and getting seven assists,” he said.
“I’m a bit of a playmaker. I like a shot but do love a tackle as well.”
He added: “I spoke to the gaffer and it seemed a perfect fit for me.

“Villa want me to gain experience, and this will be a good opportunity for me.”
Ramsey made his Villa debut off the bench in the derby against West Bromwich Albion in the Championship last season and has featured in two cup matches since.
