Doncaster-born Danny Rose could make his England debut tonight after being called up into Roy Hodgson’s squad ahead of their friendly with Norway.

The former Barnby Dun Colts player will start on the bench for tonight’s game at Wembley.

He will also be part of England’s crucial Euro 2016 qualifier against Switzerland on September 8.

Tottenham ace Rose, an ex-Danum school pupil, has been called-up alongside three other uncapped players who are Newcastle’s Jack Colback - who is injured for tonight’s clash - as well as Aston Villa’s Fabian Delph and Arsenal’s Calum Chambers.

England’s starting XI: Hart, Stones, Jones, Cahill, Baines, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Henderson, Wilshere, Sterling, Sturridge, Rooney.

Kick-off is 8pm.
