Former Manchester City midfielder Abdul Razak will fly to Doncaster for transfer talks, Paul Dickov has confirmed.
The 22-year-old Ivorian is currently playing for Greek side OFI Crete after leaving City for Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala in 2013.
Dickov said: “I had a conversation with Abdul on Sunday.
“He’s been out of the country and he’ll be coming over. I’ll sit down and have a chat with him at some point.
“It’s positive so far. The fact that he’s flying in from abroad to come and meet me we’ll take as a positive.”
Razak left West Ham last January after failing to make an appearance for the Hammers.
During his time in England he had loan spells at Portsmouth, Brighton and Charlton.
