Doncaster Rovers’ under 18s bowed out of the FA Youth Cup after Swansea came from a goal down to set up a fifth round tie at holders Chelsea.

Liam Mandeville headed in Matthew Davies’ 37th minute free kick to give Rovers the lead in Llanelli.

But the Swans’ pressure paid off with two goals in quick succession after the interval, first through Dylan Thomas and then Owain Jones.

Battling Doncaster gave another fine account of themselves and came within inches of forcing the the tie into extra time when Michael Carberry headed Paul McKay’s cross against the post deep into stoppage time.
