GARY Woods has signed a new two-year contract with Doncaster Rovers.
The deal, which will keep him at the Keepmoat Stadium until the summer of 2013, is reward for a string of solid displays this year.
Woods, 20, got his chance in the first team when 41-year-old first choice keeper Neil Sullivan dropped out with a shin injury.
And the former Manchester United stopper has grabbed his opportunity with both hands by making nine successive starts - although he could face a battle to retain his place at Bristol City tomorrow with Sullivan now back to full fitness.
Woods put in a man of the match performance in Rovers’ last victory, a 3-1 win at Derby at the beginning of March.
