Latest: Neil Redfearn installed as early bookmakers’ favourite for Rovers job

Neil Redfearn has been installed as the bookmakers’ early favourite to replace Paul Dickov in the Doncaster Rovers hot seat.

Redfearn, who played for Rovers in the late 1980s, resigned from his role as Leeds United academy manager in July claiming his position had been made untenable by the club.

The 50-year-old left Elland Road under a cloud following a six-month stint as first team coach last season.

Redfearn was installed as 3/1 favourite, with Rotherham boss Steve Evans and former Stevenage manager Graham Westley also among the frontrunners.

Rob Jones, who Rovers have put in temporary charge of first team affairs, is currently 8/1.
