Liverpool midfielder Herbie Kane has joined Doncaster Rovers on loan until January.
Kane, 19, impressed for Liverpool U23s last season and starred for their U19s in the UEFA Youth League under Steven Gerrard.
His move to Doncaster is his first loan spell in the EFL.
Grant McCann described his latest addition as a “dynamic midfield player who gets about the pitch and breaks things up”.
Kane, an England Under 17 international, told Rovers’ official website: “I’m happy to be here, I’ve met a few of the lads and they seem like a good group so I’m looking forward to the start of the season.
“It was an important decision for me as it’s my first loan spell, I know I’ll have to work hard to earn my place in the team.
“I’m a hard working player, I like to score and assist as much as possible.
“There is plenty of competition for places which I’m excited by.”
