Doncaster Rovers have gone past the 1000-season ticket sales barrier and are on course to improve on last year’s figure, according to Gavin Baldwin.

Rovers have so far sold 1,100 season tickets for the 2014/15 campaign after reducing prices for existing season ticket holders.

Chief executive Baldwin said: “We’ve been really impressed with the take up of season tickets yet again and are currently on course to improve on last year’s figures.

“We had a record day of sales when we launched on January 31.

“Our new Category C area, priced at £299 per adult and £219 per senior, has gone down incredibly well and only a few hundred seats remain in that zone.”

Existing season ticket holders have until March 31 to take advantage of Rovers’ loyalty scheme and save up to £35 on the cost of their 2014/15 ticket.

Season tickets are priced as follows until March 31: Adults £299, Seniors (60+) £219, Young People (17-20) £139, Children (12-16) £70, Children (11 & Under) £30. Under 8’s go free in the family area if accompanied by a full paying adult, terms and conditions apply.
