The Rovers publication saw off stiff competition from 4000 Holes (Blackburn Rovers), The Football Pink (various), The Gooner (Arsenal), The Square Ball (Leeds United) and United We Stand (Manchester United) to win the award for a second time.

Upon collecting the award, editor Glen Wilson said: "We've tried to celebrate what we feel supporting Doncaster is all about, particular with the focus on Premier League. Fans empathise with that."

He later tweeted: 'After a generally awful 12 months or so personally, I am grateful for a joyous night... popular STAND fanzine is @The_FSF Fanzine of the Year. Only fanzine to ever win it twice. I'm really bloody proud of it, and all our contributors.'
