Chris Brown is backing Rovers’ bouncebackability to see them over the League One finish line.
The promotion race is set for a thrilling climax, with Rovers needing to avoid defeat at Brentford on Saturday to secure a top two finish.
Defeat to Notts County was a bitter pill to swallow for Brown and his teammates - but the 11-goal striker is confident Rovers can continue their trend of winning after losing.
Doncaster have responded to a defeat by winning their next game on no fewer than nine occasions this season.
“We’ve always bounced back from defeats very well this season,” said Brown.
“We’ve got a lot of character in the changing room. We’ll have a good week’s training, refresh and we’re going to go there and win the game.
“They’re a good side, but so are we,” he added.
“We’ve gone to places equally as tough and won this season, and we’re going to have to do it again.
“We’d have taken this at the start of the season. We’ve just got make sure we go there and get the right result.”
On Saturday’s 1-0 defeat he added: “I don’t think nerves were a factor.
“We didn’t start the game well and the goal knocked the stuffing out of us.
“We came out in the second half and dominated the game but it just wouldn’t drop for us.”
