Darren Ferguson has called upon his Rovers side to show they have turned a corner by securing back-to-back wins this weekend.
Rovers showed a real ruthless streak to ease to a 4-1 win over Southend United last weekend, securing their first home league win in the process.
And Ferguson wants the same clinical edge to be on show when they visit Charlton Athletic on Saturday.
“I think all along our performances have been up there but on Saturday we were clinical,” he told the Free Press.
“What I said to the players before the Southend game was there is no panic.
“I don’t have to keep mentioning the fact we need to win games because they know that.
“We have to believe that our performances will get us the results.
“We were due a break and we still didn’t get one on Saturday with Anthony Wordsworth not being sent off.
“Our performances have been pretty consistent. On Saturday the difference was we took the chances we had.
“We’ve got to make sure, if we can, we get back-to-back wins.
“It would give us a really big lift for the lads if we could manage to do that.”
