As Rovers chased the game against Leicester City U21s in the Trophy, Daniels launched a long throw into the box.

And as the ball landed in the six yard box, it raised the question ‘where did that come from?’

It was a brief indication of a tactic the on loan Luton Town defender is capable of, though it did not appear in the next game against MK Dons.

Boss Darren Moore says it is a weapon he is happy to keep in his back pocket for whenever it is needed.

“He can reach it right from the touchline into the six yard box and it’s a tool we have got,” Moore said.

“If we do need to use it, yes we can.

“It’s a nice added weapon or assist that we can use going forward.”
