Rovers will now host the League One tie on Tuesday, January 7 with a 7.45pm kick-off.
The original fixture, set for November 16, was postponed due to international call-ups for the Shropshire side.
The rearranging of the match means the two sides will play each other twice in the space of six weeks with Rovers due to visit the New Meadow on February 22.
