Doncaster Rovers postpone Shrewsbury Town clash due to international call-ups

Doncaster Rovers’ scheduled clash with Shrewsbury Town on Saturday has been postponed due to international call-ups.

Rovers had been due to welcome the Shrews to the Keepmoat but have elected to postpone the game after receiving the three calls which trigger the option.

Tyreece John-Jules has been called up for England U20 duty, goalkeeper Josef Bursik will join up with England U21s and Danny Amos will head away with Northern Ireland U21s.

With Jason Lokilo and Rayhaan Tulloch both sidelined through hamstring injuries, Rovers would be low on options for Saturday’s game and have decided therefore to reschedule.

A date for the rearranged fixture will be announced in due course.

Northern Ireland U21s have home games with Finland and Ukraine on Friday and Tuesday respectively.

England U20 face their Welsh counterparts on Tuesday while England U21s have U21 EURO Championship qualifiers against Andorra and Turkey on Wednesday and Tuesday respectively.
