
Rovers have completed their month-long recruitment process and shook hands over a deal with the new manager on Friday morning.
Negotiations over finer details have continued over the weekend, with an assistant manager lined-up to arrive alongside the new man.
Rovers intend to make the announcement mid-morning.
It is understood that a one-year rolling contract has been signed, but one containing clauses which will strengthen Rovers’ hand in the case of approaches from other clubs.
