Here is how we rated Rovers’ individual performances at the Keepmoat. Let us know what you think on Twitter @FreePressRovers.
1. Louis Jones 7
He built on his strong league debut in midweek with another good show, this time under a lot more pressure. He made some decent saves, showed good alertness and could do little about Plymouth's goal. Barring one save where he did not push the ball away, it was a good afternoon. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
2. Brad Halliday 6
Pushed forward well in the first half and almost scored an absolute screamer. Forced into a more defensive role after the break and put under plenty of pressure. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
3. Joe Wright 9
A stunning performance from the centre half who showed tremendous bravery to produce a string of blocks to keep out the opposition while facing tremendous pressure. His positioning and his strength were excellent. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
4. Tom Anderson 8
A first goal of the season and another towering performance from the skipper. Could have maybe done a little better with his marshalling of Ennis for the Plymouth goal but threw himself in front of plenty else and was as commanding as ever in the air. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
