5. Branden Horton 7
Barring a couple of unnecessary fouls in the later stages, it was a confident performance from the left back. He looked strong defensively and pushed forward well. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
6. Lirak Hasani 7
His first senior start for Rovers and he did well for the majority of the game, showing good composure and energy in the middle of the park. He closed down space well and moved the ball quickly. Got played around a bit late in the first half but a good showing. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
7. Matt Smith 8
Brought his typical rushing and harrying play to the game and really helped to disrupt the opposition. A strong performance that powered Rovers. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
8. Rodrigo Vilca 7
Netted his second goal for Rovers after popping up in space on the edge of the box. And his tenacity brought about the second goal for the side, robbing the ball in midfield and timing his pass superbly. He relished the opportunity for space to carry the ball into.
