Here is how we rated Rovers’ individual performances at the Keepmoat. Let us know what you think on Twitter @FreePressRovers.
1. Louis Jones 7
A big night for the academy graduate as he made his first league start for his hometown club. He was unfortunate to not keep a clean sheet to mark the occasion, having had little to do throughout. Jones was composed in dealing with what he needed to and distributed well. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
2. Brad Halliday 7
An attacking threat throughout, and during the first half in particular, he pushed high up the pitch and carried the ball well. He also sat in and defended well in a good all round performance. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
3. Joe Wright 8
Seemed to relish the battles he found himself in on the night - particularly following the introduction of Marquis at half time. He was a tower of strength to rebuff plenty, and he was confident in carrying the ball out from the back. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
4. Tom Anderson 7
Brought a welcome no-nonsense approach to defending when required, clearing the danger up the pitch. And there was a typically assured and composed defensive style too, complete with aerial dominance. He did lose Marquis for the ex-Rovers striker’s goal however. Photo: AHPIX Ltd
