Here is how we rated Rovers’ individual performances at the Keepmoat.
1. Josef Bursik 6
The goalkeeper did not have a great deal to do throughout the afternoon but held the ball well when claiming it out of the sky. There will be a few questions about his positioning for Bristol Rovers’ goal but it was an excellent attempt from Leahy. Photo: AHPIX
2. Brad Halliday 7
A strong afternoon from the full back who pushed up the pitch well and covered at the back well. Photo: AHPIX
3. Joe Wright 8
As reliable as ever at centre half, he grabbed the goal he has been craving for a while to add to a solid defensive performance. He dealt with Bristol Rovers’ physical threat to show typical command at the back. Photo: AHPIX
4. Tom Anderson 7
Strong as always at the back, he contributed well for Rovers from set pieces, including the goal which Gomes scored. He too coped well against Bristol Rovers’ physicality and Hanlan’s movement. Photo: AHPIX
