Here is how we rated Rovers’ individual performances at the DW Stadium. Let us know what you think on Twitter @FreePressRovers
9. Taylor Richards 6
Very lively from the opening whistle, particularly in his pressing of the ball deep in Wigan territory which led to several attacks for Rovers. Drifted after the break and seemed to get frustrated as the game slipped from Rovers’ reach Photo: AHPIX
10. James Coppinger 7
Very good in the first half, offering composure on the left in contrast to the electric pace down the right. He worked well with Reece James. Like many, his influence waned after the break. Photo: AHPIX
11. Tyreece John-Jules 5
His least effective game so far for Rovers as he lacked the required presence in the final third for much of the game. He missed a good opportunity in the opening half and struggled for chances after the break. Photo: AHPIX
12. Cameron John 6
Replaced James in the second half and defended well while struggling to get forward with Rovers up against it. Photo: AHPIX
