Here is how we rated Rovers’ individual performances at the DW Stadium. Let us know what you think on Twitter @FreePressRovers
5. Reece James 7
Worked very well on the overlap in the first half as he linked with James Coppinger and delivered some good balls into the box. He spent so much of his time in the oppositon half. Photo: AHPIX
6. Ben Whiteman 8
Outstanding in the first half but could not continue his dominance after the break. He was the beating heart of the brilliant possession play Rovers had in the opening period but struggled for control in the second half as the game slipped away. Photo: AHPIX
7. Madger Gomes 6
Lively in the first half and consistently found space on the edge of the box. But his presence was lacking in the second half as Rovers lost their stranglehold on play. Photo: AHPIX
8. Jon Taylor 7
Had the beating of full back Tom Pearce time after time and surged into space regularly in the first half. He arguably should have put Rovers ahead with a shot that he ended up dragging wide. He remained Rovers’ biggest threat. Photo: AHPIX
