In an unseeded but regionalised draw, Rovers were handed a trip to Ewood Park, which will kick off their 2020/21 campaign.

First round ties are set to take place on the weekend September 5, though it is understood those involving Championship clubs could be held as early as August 29 due to an international break the following weekend.
