Doncaster Rovers closing in on emergency loan signing after Josef Bursik recalled by Stoke City
The Potters saw on loan keeper Angus Gunn ruled out with an ankle injury that could see him miss around 12 matches.
With Adam Davies in the early stages of recovery from a knee ligament injury, Stoke boss Michael O’Neill is short on options and has opted to recall Bursik from his season-long loan with Rovers.

Hide AdAs things stand, academy product Louis Jones is in line to make his league debut for Rovers in Saturday’s clash with Sunderland.
While boss Darren Moore is happy for Jones to take the gloves this weekend, he is working on bringing in a keeper on an emergency loan inside the next 24 hours to ensure the player is available for Saturday.
A loan has been agreed with a Championship side, but the paperwork is still to be finalised.
Thorne-born academy product Jones has made four appearances for Rovers this season, including in the last two matches.

Hide AdShould Rovers secure the loan signing as expected, it is uncertain which goalkeeper will start on Saturday with Moore rating Jones level with Bursik.
Moore said: “We have always admired Louis Jones and we see him with a big future ahead of him if he continues doing what he is doing.
"For one so young he’s always thirsting and hungering to get better and he is getting better without a doubt.
“With him and Joe, it was two fantastic young goalkeepers and it was 50-50 for me in terms of them playing. They have pushed each other.
"If they’re doing well, I’m happy to go with them.”
