Doncaster Rovers announce new dates for trip to Portsmouth and THAT Bolton Wanderers match

Doncaster Rovers have agreed tentative dates for the rearrangement of the trip to Portsmouth and the controversial clash with Bolton Wanderers.

Rovers are set to travel to Portsmouth on Tuesday, March 3 and visit Bolton on Tuesday, March 24.

The date of the Portsmouth game will change however if Pompey reach the fifth round of the FA Cup, which is due to take place in the same midweek.

In that case, Rovers will instead visit Fratton Park on Tuesday, March 17. The original fixture, set for January 4, was postponed due to Portsmouth’s involvement in the FA Cup that weekend.

Kenny Jackett’s side host Barnsley in the fourth round on January 25.

It is also understood the date of the Bolton game is not yet set in stone but will be fully ratified in the coming weeks.

That is a rearrangement of the fixture which Bolton cancelled in August with less than 36 hours’ notice.
