Defending Doncaster Sunday Alliance League Premier Division champions Scawthorpe Athletic opened up a six-point gap at the top of the table.
They made it seven wins in as many games when beating second-placed Carpenters Arms 5-3 on the back of goals by Danny Bell, Andy Walkden, Shaun Mundy, Sam Corner and Josh Bowkett.
AFC Royal, for whom Thomas Noon and Connor Evans netted, climbed into third place on the back of a 2-0 win at FC Cumberland.
Barnby Dun Rovers (Slawomir Ostrowski) dropped down to fourth after being held to a 1-1 draw by visiting Bayer Leopard Kusen (own goal).
