Rovers were due to host Accrington Stanley at the Keepmoat on Tuesday.

But Accrington's trip to Lincoln City, set for Saturday, was pushed back until 6pm on Sunday due to a frozen pitch at Sincil Bank.

Should that game go ahead, Rovers would then play Stanley on Wednesday. If it does not then the fixture will take place on Tuesday as originally planned.

"Hopefully the game will take place on Sunday and if it does then we'll look at the dynamics of what the EFL say," Moore said.

"But if the game doesn't take place on Sunday then our game can take place on Tuesday as normal.

"We'll wait and see with that.

"If it doesn't, then we'll just stick to our normal Tuesday slot and play the game.

"Whenever it is played, I've just got it in my mind that the next game is coming.

"We'll be in Monday as normal regardless of when the game takes place and we'll be ready to work for that game."

Temperatures are set to rise in Lincoln throughout the day with temperatures of three degrees forecast for the planned 6pm kick-off time against Accrington, though rain during the day may become a factor.

Freezing temperatures on Saturday morning ensured the Sincil Bank surface was deemed unplayable, with Rovers learning of the potential change to plans as they made their way to Sunderland for their own game.
