Only three of Rovers’ final 11 matches of the season are at the Keepmoat as a campaign of fixture upheaval draws to a close.

Rovers are back on the road this weekend with a trip to MK Dons.

And while he says his approach does not change for any game, Moore appreciates being set a challenge by opposition teams, which happens to a greater extent away from home.

“On the road, you know the opposition is going to come at you and you’re in their backyard,” he said. “It’s hard and it’s tough.

“It’s not that you don’t knuckle down together for a home game but away you’re in a different environment, a different fight. You’re hoping that your principles and what you set in during the week will carry you in good stead.

“Playing at home, the onus is more on you to go forward and attack the game.

“There are differences and I do look forward to both challenges. I look forward to when you go away from home and the challenge is there in front of you, as well as stepping into someone else’s backyard.

“It’s part and parcel of the game.

“Each away performance, there is a different feel to it. The areas are different, maybe a city or a town. There’s a different feel to the clubs.

“You just have to get on with it.”
