Moore is calling on his side to build on their impressive victory over Wycombe Wanderers last weekend when they visit MK Dons on Saturday.

MK Dons have won six of their last seven at home - losing only to Sunderland - and Moore says Rovers will need to at least match their efforts from the previous game if they are to secure another win.

“It’s going to be a difficult game for us and a real football match,” Moore said.

“Any time you go away from home in this league, you have to be really good. They play an effective brand of football and they’re very effective at stadium:mk.

“They’re making headway in the division because their home form is so good.

“It’s another hurdle, another block for us in terms of a different problem to overcome. It’s never easy at this level.

“They’re still in this League One campaign and they’re starting to build some solid blocks.

“It’s about us continuing our journey and making sure we are good as we have been and continuing our form.

“We’re trying to add consistency to our game and keep up the high level of performances.

“We’re going to have to do all that on Saturday.”

Having picked up just one win in 15 matches between September and December, MK Dons have lost just five of their last 18 games, significantly easing relegation concerns.
