Here is a selection of the best social media reaction from Rovers supporters.

@JohnLeslieCoyl1: Excellent result at a place where it is difficult to win. Defensively we were very solid. The subs made a real difference. Great to have players on the bench who can change a game. On to Ipswich at home!

@MattKerley: Great team performance, very good defensively and credit to the manager, great substitutions.

@glosterred: A good away win with a solid team performance. The Rovers subs made the difference when they came on.

@ryanwashbourn26: Very solid performance from defence to attack, broke the ball up well and took the chance at the right time in the game. Massive 3 points to carry over to a very good Ipswich side

@SincerelyMe0101: Cracking result, really hope we can follow up with a win on Tuesday. We are going up!

@JMickAndrews: Fej is best played as a 9. Poor marking from Pompey but a lovely goal. Great pressing all across the pitch. Just need to put some more chances away.

@dealerboy_6: 0-0 would've been a fair result so to knick it was brilliant, especially after the manner of Wigan & Oldham defeats. Some finish too

@DRFCJM1: Reece James looked good at LM which meant John had cover due to James’ defensive mindset nice to see @simsjosh12 with the assist didn’t take him long and it was some finish by James overall a decent performance.

@keiferbambi: Solid defensively but lacking a bit of creativity in front of goal. Sims made the difference by creating space which ultimately created the goal. Need to cut the silly fouls out though. Other than that, solid performance and big 3 points and back to winning way

@BenGaunt3: Huge 3 points, normally these sorts of games would be the difference in a season for us so to win away at pompey is huge

@masondrfc_: Could have gone either way but our subs changed the game, James played well LM but still rather have him in defence. Hope we play with more pace on Tuesday
