Rovers host Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday night in one of five remaining home matches with ten to come on the road.

While plenty of ides would prefer home comforts, John says Rovers are confident in their ability to pick up wins on the road.

“We’ve just got to take every home game as it comes and make them crucial and important,” the Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee said.

“Hopefully we do get a very nice run going at home at the end of the season and we pick up the points we need.

“But we have a good away record so we’re confident that if we do have to go away from home and get results, we’ll be fine.

“Hopefully the run at home will be nice but we’re confident we can go away and get results.”

Rovers have lost just one of their last five on the road.

They had won just one of their previous 12 away games but John insists they always believed that an upturn in results would come.

“We knew that it would pick up and everything would be fine,” he said.

“I think that’s just what has happened since the Peterborough game on Boxing Day. It’s all just clicked and rolled into one.

“We had the slip up at Fleetwood but that was an anomaly and we’ve just got back on track.”
